Catherine Alain studied at UQTR in Teaching in English Studies. She was then hired on the Lower North Shore to teach many different subjects from pre-kindergarten to adults students. When she came back to Portneuf, she taught at the elementary for a year. The year after led her to high school where she had the possibility to teach for 11 years, adding Spanish for the last 8 years. When they closed her high school, she was sent to elementary again, to teach ESL in grade 6 intensive English and stayed for 5 years. However, her heart was still in high school. This year, she is now back in high school. Twenty years later, I still love teaching and I happy to go to work every morning.
